Centreaide Richelieu-Yamaska has launched its official fundraising campaign for the MRC of Brome-Missisquoi to help support community initiatives that are making a difference for the population.

Centreaide Richelieu-Yamaska is a non-profit organization that raises funds and collaborates with community organizations in order to address poverty and social inclusion.

Marking its 69th year running the campaign, Executive Director of Centreaide Richelieu-Yamaska Caroline Lippé emphasized that the organization’s work is more critical than ever with various social issues on the rise in Brome-Missisquoi, including homelessness, food insecurity, violence against women, school dropout rates, and more.

Lippé noted that Centreaide Richelieu-Yamaska is currently focusing on raising awareness around these social issues and “improving the lives of the most vulnerable population” through the promotion of “community involvement” and “regional solidarity.”
