The Société Alzheimer Brome-Missisquoi et Haute-Yamaska is marking its 40th anniversary with a new headquarters and an expansion of its team to meet the growing needs of caregivers and individuals that can benefit from its services, including the English-speaking population.

The Société Alzheimer Brome-Missisquoi et Haute-Yamaska provides consultation, support, and respite services for family caregivers and people living with Alzheimer’s disease or other neurocognitive  disorders.

According to Caroline Hadlock, social worker, the organization currently offers respite services and the coffee break program to caregivers at the community centre in Brome Lake.

She noted that the Société Alzheimer Brome-Missisquoi et Haute-Yamaska is growing its team with bilingual and qualified staff that will allow the organization to expand its services and support programs in the near future, particularly for the English-speaking communities in the area.
