The Knowlton Players are celebrating over one hundred theatrical productions with their upcoming murder-mystery musical Drama at the Museum, which will serve as a fundraiser for the Lac-Brome Museum. 

Drama at the Museum director Darleen Bell explained that the story line follows a theatre troupe rehearsing to do a fundraiser for a museum, making it a play within a play.  

The Knowlton Players started in 1990 and it has donated and supported a number of causes over the years through its productions, said Danny McAuley, one of the pioneers behind the amateur theatre group. 

Now marking its 101st production, McAuley mentioned that Knowlton Players continues to evolve with new people always joining and bringing “fresh” ideas. He added that amateur theatre provides people with the opportunity to challenge themselves, and it has served as a source of happiness for those currently involved.
