Davis Joachim has lived his life in every aspect of the arts, music and entertainment industries. He enjoys the stage be it in a concert hall or on the air one of his goals is to help artists to be heard! It’s tough out there and maybe I can make a difference. “I have an opportunity to help struggling musicians so why waste it!”
Davis is the host of two jazz shows, the first one being “My Kind of Jazz” and the second having been recently introduced which features entirely canadian jazz musicians called “Great Canadian Jazz”. He has been a cidi volunteer for several years and a long time contributor as a member of CIDI’s board of directors
Davis Joachim, a producer, artist representative, touring manager executive director for various artist, I Musici de Montreal Chamber Orchestra, executive and art director of the Orford Arts Center, and has over 40 years of performing and touring as a classical radio and television guitarist having done over 1000 concerts in more than 20 different countries. Lastly he is a professor of Marketing of the arts at Bishop’s University.
Davis is someone who brings lots of knowledge in management, promotion, production, organisational experience, to the CIDI board of directors he also looks at music from a local national and international point of view. Lastly he has knowledge of non profit organisations for how they function and operate.
